First and foremost, we hope that everyone has been well. As we’ve progressed through early 2021, the Symposium Committee started early planning for both a virtual symposium and an in-person symposium, unsure of what road we would be able to take. But it is with great excitement that we are able to announce we will host our 59th Annual Symposium, in person in Mobile, Alabama! As you can imagine, things will be slightly different from our normal symposium, as we are keeping safety restrictions in mind while planning. Fortunately, our venue in Mobile, AL offers a beautiful and versatile convention center that will allow us to add in extra spacing between exhibitor booths and tables, utilize an outdoor space for one of our networking receptions, and plenty of spacious meeting rooms to have presentations with socially distanced seating for the attendees.

Below, you will find key dates and information regarding our 2021 SAFE Association Symposium:

Dates: Tuesday, November 2 – Thursday, November 4, 2021

Location: Mobile Convention Center, Mobile, Alabama (https://www.mobileconventions.com/)

Exhibitor Registration: Exhibit Hall floor plan to be released in the coming weeks prior to registration

• Corporate Members: Opens Monday, April 26th at Noon PST
  • $2,000 per 15’x10’ booth
• Non-Members: Opens Monday, May 3rd at Noon PST
  • $3,000 per 15’x10’ booth
• Online registration closes for exhibitors on Monday, October 4th

Attendee Registration: Opens Monday, May 3rd at Noon PST

• Member Pre-Registration: $550 / At-the-Door: $650
• Non-Member Pre-Registration: $650 / Non-Member At-the-Door: $800
• Government/Military Registration: $175
• Online registration at the Pre-Registration rate will remain open until Monday, October 25th. After October 25th, you will still be able to register online, but at the “At-the-Door” registration rate.

Room Reservations:

The SAFE Association holds a room block at two separate hotels for 2021. When calling the hotels for reservations, please identify yourself with the group code “SAFE Assn”. Each hotel is conveniently located to the Mobile Convention Center, with the Renaissance Battle House being a two block walk away and the Renaissance Riverview connected to the convention center by a skywalk.

Room reservation must be received on or before Friday, October 8, 2021 to be able to receive the 2021 SAFE negotiated sleeping room rates.
